The Outback Pro 2kW Brushless Diesel Heater takes the traditional diesel heater design and improves it with a dual brushless motor system.
Unlike a conventional diesel heater that uses a single brushed motor to operate the system, the brushless model uses independent motors for the combustion fan and hot-air fan. This allows each side of the heater to operate at the speed it actually needs.
The result is a heater designed to be quieter, more energy efficient and more comfortable, while still delivering the reliable 2kW heating performance you need for caravans, campers, rooftop tents and other compact spaces.
Why Choose Brushless?
🔥 Much Lower Exhaust Temperature
One of the biggest differences is exhaust temperature. The dual brushless design operates with an exhaust temperature of approximately 100°C, compared with up to approximately 400°C on the conventional single-motor design.

Brushless motors don't use traditional carbon brushes, helping reduce motor noise and providing smoother, quieter operation — ideal when you're sleeping only metres away from your heater.
⚡ Lower Power Consumption
With a rated power consumption of just 35W / 2.8A at 12V, the brushless design is ideal for off-grid setups where every amp matters.
The high-efficiency brushless motors can use up to 50% less electricity than conventional brushed motors, depending on operating conditions.

Fuel consumption ranges from just 0.13–0.24 litres per hour, giving you long run times from the included 10L diesel tank.
💨 Greater Airflow & More Comfortable Heat
Instead of relying on one motor to control both combustion and cabin airflow, the independent motor design allows greater airflow with a more comfortable outlet temperature.
This means the heater can move plenty of warm air without simply relying on extremely high outlet temperatures.

Separate combustion and cooling fan drives allow the heater to finely control airflow independently of fuel delivery, including 6-speed cooling at the lowest fuel-burning level.
