Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

Here at Aussie Outback Store we offer flat rate shipping of $9.95 for all orders under $75.
We provide FREE shipping on orders over $75 Australia-wide, excluding remote areas and bulky items.

If you are in a remote area, we will contact you if we are unable to deliver or if additional shipping charges are required. Shipping rates on bulky items will be calculated at checkout.

Dispatch Times

All products purchased from Aussie Outback Store will be dispatched within 1–2 business days after purchase. Your items will be sent from one of our Australian warehouses or partner locations.

If you order two or more products, they may be shipped from different locations and could arrive at different times. Standard delivery time to most Australian addresses is approximately 3–7 business days.

Authority to Leave (ATL)

All orders are generally sent with Authority to Leave. This means:

  • If no one is available to receive the parcel, the courier may leave it in a safe place at the delivery address.

  • By placing an order, you accept that risk transfers to you once the parcel is delivered and left in a safe place as determined by the courier.

  • If the courier determines there is no safe place, they may take the parcel to a collection point or depot and leave a card with further instructions.

Please ensure your delivery address is secure and suitable for Authority to Leave.


Returns Policy

Change of Mind

If you receive your product and simply change your mind, we are happy to offer a store credit once the item has been returned, provided that:

  • The item is in original packaging

  • It is unused and not missing any parts

The purchaser is responsible for all return postage costs for change-of-mind returns.


Refund & Replacement Policy

Refunds are generally only issued where:

  • A damaged item is received, or

  • The wrong item has been sent, and

  • A replacement is out of stock or discontinued

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved, we will issue either a store credit, replacement, or refund (where applicable). Store credit will typically be processed within 7 days, and refunds to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note it can take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you haven’t received it, please contact us at info@aussieoutbackstore.com.au.

For change of mind purchases, you are responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return the item.
If the wrong item was sent or the item was damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible for a pre-paid return label so it can be returned to Aussie Outback Store.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if:

  • The item is defective,

  • Damaged, or

  • You receive the wrong item

so that we can assess the issue and make it right.

Postage costs for damaged or incorrect items will be covered by Aussie Outback Store. We will provide a return shipping label for these cases. Items that are damaged or not working will be repaired or replaced and sent back to you. If a replacement is unavailable (out of stock or discontinued), a refund will be issued.

If a faulty item is returned to Aussie Outback Store and is found not to be faulty, the customer will be responsible for postage costs both ways before the item is returned. Please check your user manual and contact our store before returning any item, as it may be something we can help you fix quickly over the phone.


Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to:

  1. Return the item you have, and

  2. Once the return is accepted, place a new order for the item you’d like instead.
